You are invited to a Wetland Walk in Serene Valley on Saturday 17 May at 09:00. We will meet at the Lola Ave gate and walk for about an hour and a half. The walk will be led by environmental scientist, Antoinette Eysell-Knox, who is an independent consultant specialising in vegetation assessments and also wetlands. We will look at the soils and the plants and learn more about how wetlands work and how to recognise a wetland. We’ll also discuss the animals and birds and small creatures which use wetlands as a habitat – see the picture below – do you think we’ll find one of these? Look closely.
There is no charge and all are welcome.
