World Water Week

March has come and gone with almost no rain precipitating in Pretoria. March was also international water month, aimed at raising awareness on the limited amount of potable water available to us and how to better manage it. The Adopt Moreletaspruit Forum (which we affiliated to) has been very busy doing exactly that. Judy Scott-Goldman has written a series of articles that emphasize to what extent our modern lifestyles affect our local rivers as well as the municipal water treatment plants that has to cope with it.
